Below is an easy explanation how to Block Mix. Made by Melvin Very Happy

Hello! Very Happy
I'll make a Step-by-Step tutorial about BlockMixing! Rolling Eyes
First you need this program : ChallengeEdit 0.4D !

PART ONE: A SIMPLE BLOCKMIX

NOTE: I maked a error while designing the track, first blockmix the turn and then connect it after everything is done!
(Screenie)

Citaat:
1 : Have a look at This Screenie.

2 : Now place the the block one/two/three space('s) higher/lower. (It depends on your track and height!) (Screenie)

3 : Now save the Track and exit the editor.

4 : Open ChallengeEdit 0.4D and open the track you just created.

5 : Don't get mad of the things you see! I'll explain the basics! (Screenie)

6 : Read the things you see, you'll see some names like "StadiumRoadMainFinishLine" (the finish) and other things.

7 : Click on "StadiumRoadMainGTCurve2". (That's the turn)

8 : The position of the block are in "X" and "Y", "Z" is the height and rotation... you know! (Screenie)

9 : Now click on a "StadiumRoadMain" block, you'll see that the height (="Z") for the rest of the track is "1" ("0" is grass, never use it or the game will crash!)

10 : You know that the height of the rest of the track is "1", so select "StadiumRoadMainGTCurve2" again and set the height to "1".

11 : Click on "Save block modifications to memory" and save your track.

12 : open it in the editor, you'll see a white hole! (Screenie)

13 : Delete the turn and press the "Undo" buttom, the white hole should be fixed now!

14 : It's done now! Try it with other parts too!

PART 2: USEFUL THINGS

Citaat:
Now I'll teach you some usefull things about ChallengeEdit 0.4D.
- The block you placed the latest will we the most down at the list.
- Sometimes you see "clips" in the list, there are for the edges, you can remove them! (Screenie 1) (Screenie 2)
- You can place dirt on the ground and move it up!
- Sometimes you see after the name a "-P", that means that it's the primary block, when you click right by the name on the unlocker you can change the kind of material, so you can make dirt from road or water from road, the "-@" means that's it's not the primary block but a block you must edit 1 by 1, so if you wanna change a group find the primary! (Screenie)
- You can place rocks (In desert --> Decoration) up in the air and water road too! (I'm building a Desert Blockmix track now!)
- You can actually move everything up and down but never place things in 0, by me the game crashes!

I hope this helps Smile

And never blockmix 2 checkpoints one with the other, the end with a checkpoint, or the beginning with the checkpoint, that bans everybody online geek
